The flag of Cameroon was adopted in 1975 and is composed of the colors of African unity. The flag uses a 2:3 ratio and is composed of three equal vertical stripes. The left stripe is green, the center stripe is red, and the right stripe is yellow. A small yellow star is centered within the red stripe.
