About the Language:
There are many dialects in this language and they all vary when it comes to the different vocabulary, rhymes, and particles. Burmese follows a subject-object-verb order in sentence structure. The language is very monosyllabic and analytical. Spoken Burmese is generally uniform in many parts but it can vary depending on the pronunciations and the differences between them.
There is a literary and a spoken version of the Burmese script. The alphabet consists of 33 letters and 12 vowels. The language is written from left to right but they do not put spaces in between their words in a sentence. Spaces are only used after the period at the end of a sentence.
Burmese uses reduplication which is when they will combine more than one instance of the same word to intensify the result. It can also weaken the meaning as well.
The earliest recordings of Burmese writings date back all the way to the 11th century.
