At one session held at the festival called Poetry Interpretation, a Task Fraught with Risk, Iraqi interpreter Abdulwahed Louloua said, "Thorough knowledge of the language in which it is translated is a must. An interpreter should also have a fair knowledge of French and Italian if he was translating a poem into English."
Various poetry styles were also discussed by poets from around the world and locations, such as Asia and Europe. Recitals, plays, and other demonstrations took place, with an emphasis on translating poetry in a just manner.
