The game of golf is loved around the world by those who speak various languages. Many believe a superior round of golf can transcend both culture and language.
Thus with golf professionals hailing from a multitude of countries, interpreters and translators are needed to help them communicate when they travel out of their native countries. Therefore, such languages as Thai, Japanese, Swedish, German, Spanish, and France are translated on the golfing green routinely.
Thomas Levet, a three-time winner on the European Tour claims, "The game is so international. Here, in America, maybe it's reached its peak, but in so many places in the world is still growing."
This means there will continue to be a growing need for interpreters and translators in the sport of golf as the game becomes an internationally recognized sport of champions.
